Terra Mítica is a seasonal theme park in the outskirts of the spanish city of Benidorm, suffering from a deficient amount of tourism despite the city’s reputation as one of the most popular year-long touristic destinations along the Mediterranean Sea. Exploring the concept of the contemporary theme park, this studio sought to hybridize selected existing facilities with new innovative architectural interventions on the existing Terra Mítica site that would reactivate the park as a year-round destination for the city’s tourism profile.
